ABOUT THE ARTIST

Welcome to my artistic journey!  My work is inspired by natural elements. I am a self-taught fiber artist, drawn to the endless possibilities of color, texture, and form. Every piece I create is handwoven with care and intention, using yarns that are hand-dyed or hand-painted by independent dyers and small businesses that I love to support. Tencel, silk, bamboo, and rayon are among my favorite fibers to work with, chosen for their luminosity, drape, and softness.

No two scarves or shawls I weave are ever the same. Each carries its own rhythm of color and structure, making it a truly one-of-a-kind piece. My practice is rooted in the belief that textiles should not only be worn, but also experienced as living art.

Alongside weaving, I work in Nuno felting, a process that, for me, represents freedom and play. While weaving brings structure and order, felting allows me to follow imagination without limits — blending wool and silk, layering colors, and shaping textures with my hands. The tactile transformation of fibers into felt is both organic and intuitive, reminding me why I fell in love with fiber in the first place.

For me, art is as much about process as outcome. It is a journey of discovery and exploration — of materials, of nature’s palette, and of my own evolving voice as an artist. In weaving I find structure; in felting, freedom. Together, they form the balance at the heart of my work.

Thank you for supporting my handwoven and hand-felted artistry.
